The Parent Teacher League has many events during the school
year for the children to enjoy. These events can not be
possible without the help from parent volunteers. Please
consider volunteering for one or more of our events. It is
an enjoyable time well spent, and the children love to see
their parents, grandparents,siblings or aunts and uncles
helping out. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK THROUGH ALL THE EVENTS

Muffins with Mom- Muffins
with Mom is an event
where you come into school in the morning and have
breakfast with your child.
Then you can join us for service. If Mom can't make it an
Aunt, Grandma or
someone special will have a great time too.
Muffins,Bagels,breads and fruits
is served along with coffee,tea and juice. We need help
with setting up, cleaning
up and donated items.
Costume Social -Costume Social is an event that the PTL has
rite before Halloween.
Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their Costume. There
are games to be played
and prizes to be won and some snack and drinks. We need
volunteers to help with
setting up and decorating. Also manning the games, and
clean up as well as donating
food and drink items.
Veterans Day Assembly Veterans Day Assembly is to show
our gratitude to our Veterans. We start out inviting all
Veterans
to the assembly. The children make cards and sing songs.
We thank our Veterans in a special way in the chapel and
then
there are lite refreshments served downstairs in the
cafeteria.
We need volunteers to help with set up, clean up and
donating baked goods.
Thanksgiving day Feast - Thanksgiving day Feast is done
rite
before Thanksgiving break. All the students and staff eat
together
in the cafeteria. We need volunteers to help set up, clean
up ,
and donate baked goods.
Online Silent Auction- Online Silent Auction is in the
beginning
of December the perfect time to get some Christmas and
holiday
gifts. We need donated items to auction off, things we had
in the
past have been gift baskets, dinner out, trial gym
memberships,
hot air balloon rides and Pampered Chef. The PTL donates
Pizza
for One Lucky Class Pizza Day. Mr. Palkewick even donated
Wii with Mr. P and a pizza lunch.
Kris Kringle Shop- Kris Kringle Shop is done in the begins
in early
December. Children have the opportunity to go and view what
gifts
are available and then they have a day to shop. They come
home
with lists that can be filled out with the amount specified
and then
returned to school for the shopping day. We need help with
setting
up, assisting the children when looking and shopping. Then
help
with clean up.
Valentines Day Sundaes- Valentines Day Sundaes happens
during
lunch time. All the students after the eat lunch can go up
to tables
and create their own sundae. We need volunteers to help
with set
up and clean up.
Spring Social- Sping Social is on a Friday night in the
begining of
spring. We have a D.J. and the children dance, play games
and do
crafts. We need volunteers to help with set up, clean up
and to help
with games and crafts. Also baked goods and drinks.
Donuts with Dad- Donuts with Dad what a great way to start
off
the day. Come and have breakfast with your child in the
cafeteria.
There will be bagels, cake, fruit, coffee, tea and juice.
Then come
up to chapel and join us during service. If Dad can't come
someone
else can fill in an Uncle, Grandpa or somone special will
have a great
time too. We need volunteers to help with set up, clean up
and donated
baked goods.
Teacher Appreciation- Teacher Appreciation is when we show
how much
we appreciate everything our childs teacher is doing. We
need volunteers
to cover the class rooms so that the teachers can be
treated to a very
special lunch.
Fun Day- Fun Day is a day when all the students from our
school get to have
FUN! They go outdoors and jump in a jumbo bouncer and play
games and
picnic outdoors. We need volunteers to help with set up,
clean up , games
and donated baked goods.
